City of Middletown Economic Development Revises the Small Business Development Grants

Small businesses are vital to the economic growth of the City of Middletown. Therefore, the City has revised the Small Business Assistant Grant program that will continue to help business owners be successful in their endeavors. Through this modification process, businesses will complete applications to provide additional information regarding their needs and use of the grant funds. The new program providing a fair and equitable process with clear and concise communications to applicants, an objective screening process, and promoting transparency for all participants.

The program offers three categories of assistance: professional services, equipment, and building improvements. It also requires applicants to share in the costs of the services they are requesting from the City's public funds.
