Faculty and staff at Sinclair Community College will get raises next year, thanks to a provision in the school’s fiscal year 2020 budget.
Nearly 3,000 full-time and part-time faculty will receive 2.5 percent raises, according to the school. Faculty received a 2.5 percent last year as well.
The raises are part of a $143-million operating budget and $15-million capital budget approved by Sinclair trustees for fiscal year 2020. Sinclair will spend $2.3 million to provide the raises to faculty and staff, spokeswoman Deena John said.
