Magellan Aerospace in Middletown awarded $61M contract from Raytheon

A global aerospace company has landed a multimillion-dollar contract. It will bring a bevy of new work to a Dayton-area plant.

Raytheon Missiles & Defense awarded Magellan Aerospace Corporation a contract for the supply of complex missile fin components for the U.S. Navy. These heat-tolerant surface control assemblies will be manufactured at Magellan’s facility in Middletown, with deliveries that began in 2020 and will continue through 2024. The value of this agreement is approximately $61.4 million.
